Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home. I have accomplished a lot both for myself and for the academy throughout my nearly four years here in this respected institution. I am deeply grateful of all the knowledge I have gained, skills I have acquired, challenges I have overcome, and changes I have made to becoming my best version.
Many thoughts come to mind when I think about what we, the first-class cadets can accomplish for our last 100 days of cadetship in this academy. Four years was a fairly long time to be here, but I still have a lot to offer and a lot of things I want to learn. I would like to spend the rest of my time here in getting along with my underclassmen. I would like to share with them what I've discovered through my own experiences, both the good days and the trying times I've overcome.
I want to inspire them in every way possible to pursue their cadetship with integrity, dignity, and above all, discipline. Through this, I'll be able to make a lasting impression, an impression they can learn from. A legacy of being a decent senior who will go on to become a better officer and leader of our nation.
For the most part, as I make the most of my time here, I will surely make it worthwhile. I must devote it to something worthwhile that has a significant and positive impact on the academy. Mainly, in assisting my underclassmen in surviving and governing the cadet corps so that they can successfully rank up and continue their exciting journey.
My cadetship will end soon but all the great things that my classmates, teachers and the academy have given me will forever be engraved in my heart and mind. I will surely become an officer that will help in building a more prosperous and safer nation by reverberating the institution’s core values: Justice, Integrity and Service
